Bio:
Mr. D’Souza teaches Accelerated Algebra II at Strake Jesuit where has taught for 14 years. Mr. D’Souza also coaches Strake Jesuit’s Freshman A soccer team and acts as the school’s Service Director. He has 27 years of teaching experience and earned an MS in Mathematics at Michigan Technological University.
About the course:
This Fall’s course focuses on Probability, a mathematical concept that has both practical relevance and important mathematical applications. The course will teach probability while exploring many real-world applications from finance to decision-making to poker.
NOTE: The course will be offered in person at Strake Jesuit. Safety procedures are all in place including a superior HVAC system that limits “transmitting” of airborne illnesses. Further details on safety protocols will be communicated to registrants.
