Michael Kaplan currently teaches high school mathematics at Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School in Indianapolis, IN. In four years of teaching, he has taught Algebra I, Algebra II, and Geometry. He has an undergraduate degree in Secondary Education: Mathematics from Indiana University. A passionate mathematician who uses high-intensity dad humor to make the introduction of complex concepts a light and enjoyable experience for any age.

About the course:

This Fall’s course focuses on Probability, a mathematical concept that has both practical relevance and important mathematical applications. The course will teach probability while exploring many real-world applications from finance to decision-making to poker.

NOTE: The course will be offered in person at Brebeuf Jesuit. Room location and safety protocols will be communicated to registrants.
