Bio:
Aster Khan is an enthusiastic Math Teacher with 12 years of teaching in diverse international classroom environments ranging from middle to high school. She focused on developing a positive rapport with all students through effective communication and culturally sensitive curricula. She earned Master’s degree in Mathematics and a Master’s in education from National University.
She uses Innovative teaching methods and multimedia teaching tools to teach Middle school Math, Algebra 1&2, Geometry, Math analysis, Finite Math, Pre- Cal, Ap Calculus, Graph theory, Statistics, Complex Analysis, Real Analysis, Number Theory, and Complex Geometry.
About the course:
This Spring, the Math+ program will be focused on the concept of Infinity. Infinity can be defined as “something without any limit”. The concept has applications across disciplines but is particularly critical in mathematics where the concept has been at the center of the field since 1655 when John Wallis, a leading mathematician, defined its mathematical symbol.
