Bio:
Mr. Aaron Alonso currently teaches high school mathematics at Sts. Peter and Paul School in Tulsa, OK. He has taught Geometry, Algebra II, Trigonometry, and Statistics. In addition to math, he has also taught theology and computer science classes. He has a master's degree in Mathematics Education from Northeastern State University. Outside of teaching, Mr. Alonso enjoys spending time with his family and reading.
About the course:
This Summer, the Math+ course will focus on Number Theory – the study of integers (e.g., -1, 2, 3). Over the six classes, we will explore different aspects of this critical concept and will learn what Number Theory is and how it relates to computer applications and important topics including cryptography.
NOTE: The course will be offered in person at Sts. Peter and Paul School. Additional information will be communicated to registrants.
